Your anger does not make you a bad lover.

Still from Pandora's Box (1929).

"Rasa, Bhava, andi (ask your mallu friend what that means)." This was one of the rare times I would see him cuss. His frustration stemmed from a confusion over an unfathomable decision by his girlfriend. The cultural event to come was being hosted by a group of individuals who came from the same linguistic and cultural backgroud as him, and thus the need for him to participate with them to make the event happen -- a decision that could have been otherwise a wise one if it weren't for a couple of problematic individuals included as organizers, problematic to his lover. No one is problematic without a cause; given the history of defamation and manipulation, she was rightfully angry and sad over his participation in a dance performance which was being choreographed by them (To have your boyfriend now dance on their tunes, how lovely!). Seeing how comfortable he was with organising an event with someone who had not only hurt the "one and only love" of his life but himself too, I had withdrawn from the plan of a weekend getaway to spend some quality time together right after the event. And this, certainly did not sit right with him.
